The concept
of a smart meter has gained significant popularity worldwide in recent years.
Traditionally, you need to go to the meter reading room and take down readings.
Thus, monitoring and keeping track records of your gas consumption is a tedious
task and inconvenient. In addition, at the end of each month, many of us get
worried about the high bill and we have to look at the energy meter once in a
while. But what if we can monitor our gas use from anywhere in the world. In this project, we will create a smart gas monitor in which the ability to recognize numbers on a gas monitor by an image using machine vision is implemented. The main thing
is that the numbers on the monitor are analog. Everything is implemented on the
popular ESP32-CAM module, thereby saving time and money.
